Terms of Use
The templates on this site are provided “as is” for general business use. They are starting points for your own documents, not a substitute for professional advice. InvoiceForge does not guarantee that any generated document satisfies the legal, tax or accounting rules of your jurisdiction, and you use the tools at your own risk.
Not tax or legal advice. Tax rates, invoicing rules and receipt requirements differ by country, state and situation. Before you send an invoice or receipt, check the rules that apply to you and, where it matters, ask a qualified accountant or lawyer. We are not liable for how you use the output, and a generated document is not a legal opinion.
Donation receipts. Whether a donation is tax-deductible depends on local law and the status of the recipient organization. Confirm deductibility with a tax professional in the relevant jurisdiction; the receipt here is only an acknowledgment of the contribution, not a determination of its tax treatment.
Accuracy of what you enter. The tools calculate subtotals, tax and totals from the numbers you type. They do not verify those numbers against any external source. You are responsible for entering correct figures and for reviewing the PDF before you send it to anyone.
Availability. The tools run in your browser and we aim to keep them available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. You are responsible for saving and backing up any document you create, because we do not store copies on our side.
Your content. You keep all rights to the text you type into the generators. Because that text never reaches us, we make no claim to it and cannot use it. The templates themselves are provided for your unlimited personal and business use, and you may adapt the downloaded files however you need.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent allowed by law, InvoiceForge and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of these tools. This includes any error in a generated document, any delay in service, or any dispute with a client or authority. The tools are free and are provided without warranty of any kind, and you use them at your own risk.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms as the site changes. The current version is shown in the footer, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. The templates are offered as a convenience, not as a contractual commitment beyond what is stated here.
